08-14-08 Daughtry is an American Music Award winning rock band from North Carolina, formed by Chris Daughtry. Daughtry was an American Idol finalist in 2006. Daughtry later turned down Fuels offer to make him lead singer in order to create his own band in which he named Daughtry. Daughtry’S self entitled album sold more than 4 million copies and was named the number one selling album of 2007. Singles off of the album include “It’s Not Over”, “Home”, and “What I Want”. Daughtry is currently working on their second studio album that is to be releasing in the Spring of 2008.
